I’ve walked up volcanoes, like Teide, and watched the devil’s breath rise from the molten earth.
I’ve stood atop Mytikas and heard the whispers of gods.
But Barrhorn changed me in a deeper way.
It wasn’t just a mountain—it became my teacher.
A presence that outlived empires and will outlast all our species.
Through it, I saw that nature is not scenery—it is a sentient system. Mountains are not dead rock—they are watchers, purifiers, record-keepers.
Their rivers are veins.
Their glaciers are memory.
Their peaks are minds.
When we walk toward them, they listen.
When we return, they judge.
When we surrender to them, they may—if we’re lucky—show us who we are beneath all our noise.
And maybe, like that first time, it was as much a surprise for the mountain to feel me as it was for me to see it.
Now, I no longer see mountains as places to conquer or escape to. I see them as beings. As old, holy, and aware.
And when I walk, I don’t walk to reach a peak.
I walk to speak—to them, through them, and sometimes…
if I’ve been quiet long enough,
I can hear them speak back.

From the series SATNAMASKS
This painting is a wedding, a union not merely of bodies, but of perspectives, energies, and the subtle architecture of mind.
The entire composition vibrates like a chamber of consciousness—at once a skull, a shower room, a cosmic portal.
Abstract patterns on the outer frame dissolve inward, gradually congealing into the geometric semblance of a space—walls, floor, an opening—yet always on the edge of dissolving again into the unformed. It is a room made of symbols, an architecture of thought.
At its core stands a mask split in two: one side feminine, curving and intuitive; the other masculine, angular and precise.
Two beings emerge from this bifurcation, holding hands beneath a cascading stream of abstract energy—what one might call the “shower.”
This flow begins above, sourced from the infinite, and passes between them before returning below, completing a sacred circuit.
It is this current—more than their hands, more than the room—that binds them.
Their bodies are not just forms but vessels through which consciousness peers out.
One eye sees through the feminine, the other through the masculine; together, they form a whole vision.
This is a mind that dreams, divided and united at once, perpetually flowing between form and formlessness.
In a dream, this room disintegrated, revealing its true essence: not walls, but infinity.
The touch of hands became a current of unknown force. Through this contact, the female body became transparent, revealing a spark—a flicker of light within her womb, like a miniature Big Bang.
Life was not initiated by flesh, but by energy, by shared vision, by resonance.
In that moment, creation was an idea, a dream more ancient than time, echoing archetypes of immaculate conception and divine spark.
This piece is that dream made visible: a mask of unity, a portal of duality, and a sacred room where love becomes a generator of worlds.
